México reprobado en los Juegos Olímpicos Rio 2016 En los Juegos Olímpicos de Río 2016, México ha sido incapaz de llegar al podio en competencias en las que se pensó, previo al inicio del evento, que podrían dejar una presea para el país.

Atletas que se colocaron dentro de los tres mejores en las ediciones anteriores de la máxima justa deportiva, han mermado sus oportunidades de conseguir alguna presea de cualquier metal en Brasil.

El senador panista Daniel Ávila Ruíz adelantó que como secretario de la Comisión de Juventud y Deporte presentará puntos de acuerdo en el recinto legislativo para que Alfredo Castillo, titular de la Comisión Nacional del Deporte (CONADE) comparezca por los resultados obtenidos hasta ahora en la justa olímpica de Río 2016.

En conferencia de prensa, Ávila Ruiz indicó que “son muy pobres los resultados que están habiendo al día de hoy por parte de la delegación mexicana en el deporte en Río”, por lo que Castillo deberá rendir cuentas una vez que terminen las olimpiadas.

“Vamos a presentar puntos de acuerdo, solicitando a la Presidencia de la República, específicamente, la comparecencia del titular de la Conade (…) tendrá que comparecer aquí en el Senado, en la Comisión de Juventud y Deporte, para explicarnos qué es lo que está pasando en el deporte mexicano, sobre todo con estos resultados de la delegación mexicana en Río de Janeiro”, dijo.

Finalmente resaltó que este año bajó drásticamente el presupuesto por parte del Gobierno federal para el deporte, específicamente en infraestructura deportiva que se etiqueta en la Cámara de Diputados.

Mientras tanto Alfredo Castillo, titular de la Comisión Nacional de Cultura Física y Deporte (Conade), ha dado de que hablar, debido a que mientras la delegación de nuestro país pasa por un momento de bajos resultados, él se pasea por Brasil junto a su novia y se preocupa más por el desempeño de otros deportistas como Phelps.

El trabajo de Castillo al mando de la Conade ha quedado a deber. Desde su incorporación a la institución, se han presentado casos donde se puede apreciar el poco o nulo apoyo que los atletas mexicanos reciben.

    Que pena dan los participantes de Mexico en los Juegos Olimpicos y no se si toda la culpa es de los deportistas o de las autoridades. Los deportistas por no dar el 100% y las Autoridades por no apoyar al 100%. Mediocres.
